Note from the editor: while it may be under debate whether Finns should be listed as Axis forces or not, it remains a fact that they didn't share the same loyalties as the Allied nations and as such make good alternative opponents for them.

1. Battle Honours

One of the first manufacturers of 25mm WWII miniatures, their range is still one of the most comprehensive available to this day. The figures are 25mm and a bit on the small side by current standards. The range includes Finns in winter and in summer dress. There are infantry and support weapons, snipers and skitroops on skis.

2. Baker Company

This UK-based company makes a small range of early war Finns, including riflemen, SMG's and Finnish anti-tank troops. The figures are sculpted by Barry Carter and look pretty good.

3. Bolt Action Miniatures

With monthly new releases, BAM has become one of the major players on the field for 28mm WW2. The figures are sculpted by Paul Hicks, Adam Dechande and Richard Ansell. Vehicles by Simon Bargery, Olaf Meys and Nigel Higgins. The newest range is WW2 Finns, sculpted by Richard.

4. Brigade Games

Lon Weis at Brigade Games has a small, but interesting new range of 28mm WW2 miniatures and vehicles from the Polar caps to the Desert to the Far East to ..."The Ends of the Earth". The figures are sculpted by the talented Richard Ansell to be compatible with most of the current WW2 lines. Soon to be released are these Finns:

5. Outpost Wargame Services

A small recently released range of 28mm WW2 Romanians that saw life as a commission from a customer. The range has infantry and support weapons. An unusual subject.
